Maribor Slovenia... here I am ...

pronounced "Chewy Tee.. Va Mar-E-bor-oo See"  (now you all know Slovenian)

Okay so I figure instead of trying to explain everything I saw and did I'll just show pics... much more enjoyable then reading.. right?!?

I will say this... I'm staying with my hysterical family (amazing when I get a joke even in a different language I DON'T speak)... learning a ton about my family, and making connections with  new generations of Slovenian relatives...   I'm constantly in awe at the thought that my great grandparents, grandparents, parents ... have all walked these streets...  I've heard the stories and now I get to see...

May you all discover more about yourself through those who have lived and loved before you...

Thanks for sharing these Andrejka. The chances of me going to Slovenia or Macedonia are pretty slim. So I appreciate you posting images of the country with us. It's great to see it from your point of view.
