OH MY GOODNESS... this was by far the coolest shoot I have ever done... in the ocean (not just them... Me too!)... in Mexico ... the day after an AMAZING wedding...
Elizabeth & Will were splashing around... having fun... loving on each other..and not caring about a thing in the world except for having fun and being in the moment... and these pics can definitely show it.
Elizabeth and I had been talking about this shoot for months... Will, I think, may have been a little hesitant at first (and he wasn't even wearing the dress)... but the minute the volleyball court came into play... he was all about it... he just kept asking... "can I throw her in yet... can I throw her in yet ..."
SO MUCH FUN... man I love my job!!!
Take a look...

Phewww... what a summer... okay I am definitely in full wedding season... I am SOOOO behind on my blog... I'm sorry.. but I am hoping to be more on top of things now... I am officially settled on Mackinac for the next two months... no more hopping on planes every three days... yeah!!
So a few weeks ago I went to Cincinnati to do an engagement shoot with Laura & Dale who will be getting married on Mackinac in a few weeks. I had a BLAST... I've decided one of my favorite things to do is engagement shoots... ESPECIALLY in my couple's hometowns... how neat to see a piece of their life... and a taste of the local cuisine (thanks again for the Skyline Chili)...
The three of us went all over Cinci. nad I must admit... what a great place.. .a friend once described it as a "Little Big Town".. so right.... Its a city with a small town feel.
Laura & Dale... I had so much fun with you guys... I can't wait till the wedding in a few weeks!!
Best,
A

Okay... so they've been engaged for a while now.. BUT... last week I finally got a chance to meet them and do an AWESOMELY fun engagement shoot around the island... we met at the coffee shop... I handed them my tandem bike ... and away we went..
It seriously may have been the most fun I have ever had with an engagement shoot. We biked up around Mission Point (where their wedding will be in August), up the East Bluff, around the fort, on the dock... soooo much fun. A tour of the island on the back of a tandem... I had such a blast (I think they did too)... excpet of course when we decided to bike up Mission hill... pheeewww... this girl needs to get her bike legs back.
I really hope to do a lot more engagement shoots on the island... it is such a great way to get compfortable with the camera, see the island from a different view, and get pics in a completely relaxed environment!! ...
**In fact... I am going to offer $100 off any engagement (casual couples shoot if happens after the wedding), for any couple that already has a package with me.. just send me an email.**
Love,
A

Yesterday I had the most beautiful location to shoot as well as the most beautiful subject... my friend Diana needed new headshots for her EXPLODING opera career... she's recently been featured on several French Television shows and has sung with some of the top opera singers in the world.
We had so much fun pretending that the Palace was hers... how often does one get to do a portrait shoot at Versailles...
If you get the chance check out her website... you'll love her just as I do!!

Also.. this may be last blog for a WHOLE WEEK... I'm off to the south of France to meet up with some SB friends and I havea feeling my hotel doesn't have internet... (what will I do ... a whole week without the web... eeks!!)... ut do not fear I will catch everything up when I return on the 19th.
Have a lovely week... have fun and enjoy the begining of Summer the first day is just around the corner!
